Foxfire Farm is proud to offer our picturesque scenery for your maternity, senior, engagement, or other photography needs. We have a list of photographers that we have worked successfully with in the past, or you are welcome to bring your own. For a fee, you will receive use of our spacious farm for your photography needs, as well as a horse of your choice, groomed and prepared by our handlers. A handler will be present during your shoot to ensure comfort and safety for your photographer, yourselves, and our animals. Please note, all shoots are unmounted unless specific written consent is given prior to the beginning of the shoot. Please see our list of available horses for on-site shoots:

Rico: Rico is a 15.1, 11 year old Lusitano gelding. Lusitanos are an uncommon breed in the United States, descending from Portugese bullfighting origins. Rico displays captivating blue eyes, a luminescent pearl colored coat, and a noble convex profile.

Fin: Fin is a 16.1 draft cross. He is a unique dun color, sporting dark stripes on his forelegs and down his back. Fin has striking facial markings, and always brings an element of charisma to his shoots.

Pony: Pony is an 8 year old Miniature horse, and retains the classical features of a pony. He has a rich, chocolate coat, large eyes, and a dished profile.

Gandalf: Gandalf is a stunning and rare medicine hat pinto, prized as wise and shamanic. He stands 15 hands, and is an incredibly calm and quiet soul.

Q: Q is a young man at only a year old, but is wise beyond his years and incredibly well behaved to handle. Q is also a Lusitano, sporting the convex profile with a look of eagles. He is currently brown, with hints of his incoming silver grey coloring beginning to come through in his mane and tail. He has a wide blaze that makes for interesting and beautiful photos.
