Bring home one of the most charming and productive heritage breeds in the backyard chicken world — the Crested Cream Legbar. These auto-sexing beauties are instantly recognizable by their elegant crests, friendly personalities, and the sky-blue eggs they’ll bless your basket with.
About the Breed
Originally developed at Cambridge University in the 1930s, the Crested Cream Legbar combines brains, beauty, and bountiful production. With their soft cream plumage and signature topknot, they’re a standout in any flock — but their true value is in their utility.
They’re hardy, alert foragers who thrive in both a free-range and enclosed environment. Their calm, curious demeanor makes them excellent companions for small farms and backyard coops alike. Legbars are known for being social and intelligent.
